Hello.

I’m a Finnish director who opened the door to cinema young—spaghetti western dust on one boot, starships in the sky above the other. Since then I’ve chased the stories that live inside people: the look before a line, the choice no one sees, the quiet that tilts a scene. I build from character outward—world, camera, rhythm—so images don’t decorate the story, they carry it.

My work moves between commercials, music videos, and narrative films, but the aim doesn’t change: make something honest, cinematic, and felt. Performances matter most; everything else arranges itself around that pulse. Over the years the films have travelled and been recognized—multiple nominations, a few wins—which is nice, but the real reward is when the stories truly connect with audiences.
